The Steering Group
Halton SEND Partnership IASS has its own steering group which is made up of a range of parents and professionals who help advise, support and champion the service.
Meetings are held termly and actions are agreed at each meeting and reviewed at the following meeting.
The steering group is an essential way of sharing what’s happening from the perspective of Halton SEND Partnership staff and getting feedback from those who experience the service as a parent or who refer parents for advice and support.
We are looking to recruit new volunteer representatives to be a part of our steering group which meets just three times per year.
If you are interested in helping to guide and shape Haltons SEND Partnership, and you have a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) , or work with children with SEN in an educational, social care or healthcare setting, please contact Halton SEND partnership for more information.
Halton SEND Partnership is here for you - parents and carers of children, and young people who have special educational needs and disabilities.
Young people who have special educational needs and/or disability aged from 16 to 25 may also access the service. They may choose to do this with the support of their parents/carers or independently.
